Prof. Dr. Seval AKGÜN
Prof. Dr. Rashid Bin Khalfan AL ABRI,
While rapid technological advances have served the welfare of people on the one hand, on the other hand they have brought dangers for human life and the environment. In particular, occupational diseases and occupational accidents are becoming more important with the emergence of industrialization and intensive production processes and the use of hundreds of chemical substances in these processes. Health workers can be exposed to hazardous chemical and physical agents, stress and trauma in terms of both their working environment and service providers. In other words, they can face risk (s) at almost every stage of their lives. Any of these occupational effects may cause illness immediately or after a period that can last for many years.
